Crock Pot Beef & Mushrooms

Posted by Solitary Dancer on March 29, 2007

Crock Pot Beef & Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS:

2 lbs lean stewing beef
1 (8 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 (1 1/4 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

DIRECTIONS:

1. Combine all ingredients in a greased crock pot.
2. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
3. Add a cup of fresh sliced mushrooms in the last hour of cooking

NOTE: Even though this recipe calls for apple juice there is only just about 5 CHO per serving. This is based on 6 servings
