Coffee Burgers

Posted by Solitary Dancer on February 26, 2007

Annacia’s Coffee Burger

I am not sure how this would taste but it’s definitely a change from the old standard burger.

1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon espresso powder (ground almost to a powder in your blender)
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 jalapeno pepper, small thinly sliced, seeds removed
1/4 cup bell peppers (red or green, finely diced)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Form hamburger patties.
3. Cook on the hot grill or under broiler.
