Jeff’s Hot Cocoa

Posted by Solitary Dancer on February 5, 2006

This isn’t a recipe I created but I enjoy this nearly every day either as a desert or with breakfast on workdays. I can’t remember exactly where I got this from in order to give the author proper credit but I was able to find it here http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art16149.asp

Low Carb Hot Cocoa Recipe

Looking for a recipe for low carb hot cocoa? Hot chocolate is perfect for chasing away the chills, and this one is sugar-free!

2/3 cup water
1/3 cup heavy cream
2 packets Splenda
1 Tbsp cocoa
1/8 tsp vanilla

Mix all ingredients then microwave for 2 minutes or until hot. Enjoy!

Servings: 1
Carbs per serving: 2g
If you really like chocolate, try making a large batch of this and keeping it in the refrigerator in summer.
