GinnyL’s Flaxmeal Burger Buns

Flaxmeal burger buns

Amount Measure Ingredient — Preparation Method

3 Eggs
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons sugar free syrup — Torani or Davinci, Vanilla flavored works good.
1/4 cup water (I don’t put the water in)
1 cup flax meal
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with a fork. With a fork or spoon,
beat in oil, syrup, water and vanilla.

In a small bowl, combine the remaining dry ingredients, then stir into
egg mixture.

Let stand 5 minutes.

Plop 1/3 cup of batter onto greased cookie sheet. Should have 5 of them.

Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 22 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

Cut each bun in half with a knife and use for sandwiches or hamburgers.
