Parmesan Crisps

These make a great garnish for canapes, salads, or even main dishes. Of course you can have them a nice crunchy snack.
The original recipes uses a toaster oven so it may cook differently in a regular oven (i.e. you may need to broil it to get it to brown properly).
Parmesan Crisps
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Mix parmesan & garlic powder if desired.
3. Spread olive oil onto sheet of aluminum foil (with a cookie sheet underneath).
4. Spread parmesan onto foil making a thin layer across it
5. Bake 5-10 minutes until cheese turns golden brown.
6. Allow to cool.
7. Turn aluminum foil over and carefully peel it away from the cheese.
8. Break into pieces.
