Grilled Steak with Spicy Cajun Rub
1 pound Rump steak 1″ thick
– SPICY CAJUN RUB —
2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Cilantro ground
1/2 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1. Mix all the rub ingredients together and set aside.
2. Heat a cast-iron pan until smoking hot. If preferred, oil the steak, then place in the hot pan. When the steak starts pulling away from pan, flip it over, grilling for 4-5 minutes each side until medium-done. Alternatively, grill over hot coals. 3. Season using the rub.
