Chicken, Cheese, Broccoli Casserole
2 pounds chicken thighs, cooked
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
garlic powder, to taste
3/4 cup parmesan cheese, divided
10 ounces frozen broccoli flowerets, thawed
Remove skin and bones from chicken.
Cut or tear into bite-size pieces.
Chill.
On the stove, stir cream, cream cheese, salt and garlic powder together in the top of a double boiler until smooth and thoroughly heated.
Stir in 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Arrange broccoli in 2-quart casserole dish.
Pour half of cheese sauce over broccoli, top with chicken, add remaining cheese sauce, then top with remaining parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
